Responsibilities
Cultivate new client relationships in dynamic markets for architectural projects to position for growth of our business in the metro market
Utilize your expertise in project management and project design, including replacement and preservation design
Work with contractors and owners to develop innovative approaches to construction staging
Lead junior staff and promote the growth of their technical skills
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university
8+ years of progressive experience
Licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota
Experience managing and mentoring staff
Experience with project management, proposal development, and business development
Preferred
MS in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited college or University
Experience in bridge design and plan preparation
Registered Structural Engineer (S.E.)
Knowledge and experience with AASHTO manuals LRFD Design Standards
Working knowledge of MicroStation and/or Civil 3D software packages
Experience with finite element analysis
Proficiency in common bridge engineering software (RCPier, Conspan, MathCad, Staad, etc.)
Bridge inspection training and load rating experience
