Responsibilities

Leads a portfolio of accounting engagements
Helps scale the CAS department
Owns day‑to‑day client delivery
Ensures high‑quality and timely close/reporting
Coaches and develops team members
Manages engagement budgets/scope
Partners closely with the CAS Partner to build and implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and a consistent client experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field) preferred
CPA or EA (or progress toward credential) preferred
5+ years of outsourced accounting/CAS or public accounting experience
2+ years of experience managing engagements and/or leading and developing team members
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and the full close cycle; able to review complex journal entries and financial statements
Excellent client‑facing communication skills and a demonstrated service mindset
Strong project management skills; ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines and budgets
High proficiency with accounting technology (QuickBooks Online/Desktop) and Microsoft Excel; comfortable learning new systems
