Responsibilities
Consistently provide effective, timely and professional customer service to internal and external customers
Responsible for telephone and written communication inquiries on items including, but not limited to statuses, billing, eligibility, and amendment quotations, based on established guidelines
Underwrite and manage workload on commercial lines renewals and cancellations
Obtain information needed to properly evaluate renewals, amendments and cancellations
Assist with processing amendments, renewals and cancellations
Responsible for file documentation
Assure policy coverage, issuance and cancellations are within state regulations
Qualification
Required
College Degree or 2-4 years of equivalent experience
Ability to independently solve problems
Ability to work effectively with others, both internal and external
Self-starter including strong organizational and prioritizing skills
Ability to accurately key information for processing of all business
Ability to communicate effectively with groups and individuals using all forms of communication
Ability to use computerized rating and policy issuance systems, Microsoft Office Products and function in a personal computer network environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
Adaptable and willing to learn new skills as the role and industry changes
