Application Developer Intern - Frankfort, KY (Summer 2026)
Myers and Stauffer LC is a certified public accounting and health and human services consulting firm, specializing in audit, accounting, data management and consulting services to government-sponsored health care programs. They are seeking an Application Developer Intern to participate in development team activities, understand OOP concepts, and build relationships with business and IT members.

Participate as a key member of the development team in client, business, or internal meetings
Understand common OOP concepts and design patterns
Be able to give and receive feedback on requirements or code reviews
Demonstrate aptitude for debugging code across the stack
Build relationships with business and IT members to deliver solid solutions
Respond to inquiries and requests timely and efficiently
Professional in appearance and manner
Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer
Additional responsibilities as assigned
This position could have the potential to become a direct hire in a full-time position after graduation
Qualification
Required
Intern must be working toward or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems or related field
Participate as a key member of the development team in client, business, or internal meetings
Understand common OOP concepts and design patterns
Be able to give and receive feedback on requirements or code reviews
Demonstrate aptitude for debugging code across the stack
Build relationships with business and IT members to deliver solid solutions
Respond to inquiries and requests timely and efficiently

Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
Coursework or experience in .NET (framework, Core, 6+)
Coursework or experience in C#, JavaScript, and SQL languages
Familiarity with ASP.NET and MCV or ASP.NET Core
Familiarity with web services and web APIs
Must be able to work independently on projects and within a hybrid office/remote team environment
Ability to execute assigned projects within established deadlines
Active participation in student organizations and work experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Self-motivated and eager to contribute
