Responsibilities
Analyze user requirements; design, develop, and implement information lifecycle management solutions to help customers manage enterprise data efficiently while ensuring compliance with corporate standards
Establish enterprise data standards and best practices
Design and implement databases
Write queries, stored procedures, functions, views, packages, and triggers
Install, configure, and monitor data systems; convert data from legacy system to new system
Validate and index data
Monitor, tune, and optimize data performance
Automate data compliance processes
Manage data security, privacy and operational integrity in the cloud
Maintain systems documentation
Create and implement backup and recovery procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Commerce, or related field of study
Five years of experience in enterprise data management
Will accept a foreign 3 or 4 year bachelor's degree
Five years of work experience in designing, developing, implementing, securing, and archiving data solutions using Java, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Script, MySQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Hive, AWS, and Unix/Linux
