Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
Create and distribute customer invoices; maintain accurate billing records
Apply customer payments (check, ACH, credit card, and online platforms)
Monitor aging reports and assist with basic collections and customer follow-up
Reconcile AR accounts and research discrepancies
Respond to customer billing inquiries and provide statements or invoice copies
Accounts Payable
Enter and process vendor invoices and maintain vendor records
Review invoices for accurate coding, pricing, and approvals
Reconcile AP accounts and vendor statements; resolve discrepancies
Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions or missing documentation
Banking, Month-End & Reporting
Update and reconcile the company checkbook and bank accounts
Assist with month-end close and basic cost accounting activities
Support financial reporting and analysis for management
Provide ad-hoc reporting, compliance support, and process improvements
Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Experience with accounting software
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, especially during seasonal workload peaks
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
QuickBooks Desktop experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Interest in growing responsibilities and expanding accounting skillsets over time
