Responsibilities
Compliance: Make sure that department remains in compliance with all EHS requirements and escalate to management when there are issues
Improvement: Work on various initiatives within the department and across departments as a Safety subject matter expert to improve the safety culture and safety execution of your team
Communication: Share safety information, progress, and concerns across department and with EHS
Reporting: Regular reporting to the department on key EHS items including safety metrics, status of action items, and progress to plans
Information Sharing: Send your department communications on incidents, improvements, and changes, as necessary.
Recognition: Identify areas and persons in your area deserving of recognition, share with leadership and help identify ways to recognize
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks required
Familiarity with General Industry OSHA Regulations and reporting guidelines
Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety, IH, Engineering, or closely related field preferred
Certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM or ability to be certified preferred
Preference for experience in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility
