Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital is celebrating over 90 years of caring for the community. The Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all floors in the facility, ensuring safety and proper operation of floor equipment.

Responsibilities
Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department
Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors
Utilizes the “wet floor” signs , observing safety precautions at all times including using safety precautions when operating floor equipment to prevent falls
Properly operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely
Removes debris and cleans floors thoroughly with proper cleaning before waxing
Moves furniture and equipment to ensure all floors are clean before waxing
Qualification
Required
Under general direction, clean and maintain all floors in the facility
Performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment
Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department
Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors
Utilizes the 'wet floor' signs, observing safety precautions at all times including using safety precautions when operating floor equipment to prevent falls
Properly operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely
