Content Coordinator
Woodstock Arts is a multidisciplinary arts organization in Downtown Woodstock, GA, and they are seeking a Content Coordinator. This role involves creating and managing compelling content that enhances audience engagement and strengthens community relationships.
Responsibilities
Maintain and strengthen Woodstock Arts’ brand strategy across all platforms and materials
Develop and manage a shared media and content calendar with staff to ensure consistent, coordinated communication
Create all of print marketing materials (posters, handouts, sandwich boards, etc.), ensuring they are strategic, timely, and distributed effectively
Coordinate with staff, contractors, and volunteers to ensure content and designs meet standards of quality, consistency, and effectiveness
Photograph and create video content for events to support archival needs and marketing assets
Secure and manage up-to-date marketing assets from artists and performers to meet contractual and branding needs
Develop supplemental materials that enhance audience experience, including theatre programs, gallery guides, and season reveal materials
Maintain and evolve organization-wide communication plans that support audience nurturing and growth
Manage digital tools and systems to maximize automation, efficiency, and impact
Maintain and build website pages (content-based, not coding), coordinating with staff on event updates, readiness planning, and audience engagement
Lead and support an active, relevant, and consistent social media presence that builds relationships and reinforces brand voice
Audit and improve audience-facing communication tools (including ticketing systems) to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment
Stay informed on emerging media and platforms, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and expand reach
Work closely with Management Staff to ensure accurate recognition of donors, sponsors, foundations, and municipal partners across all platforms
Contribute to organization-wide initiatives and help distribute workload during high-impact events and peak periods
Support organization-wide initiatives, events, marketing efforts, fundraising activities, and serve as 'Staff on Duty' when needed
Qualification
Required
You likely bring a background in communications, marketing, event promotion, or nonprofit work, supported by a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
You are comfortable with everyday digital tools and excited to explore new ones
You may already be familiar with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Adobe Suite, Canva, and email marketing systems
You love to create and make clear asks through your photography, videography, or other edits for an audience
You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing sight of the bigger picture
Above all, you bring a positive, solutions-oriented mindset and take pride in representing an organization with care, creativity, and professionalism
This role requires a flexible schedule, including frequent evenings and weekends to support events and programs
The position involves standing, walking, bending, frequent use of hands, stooping, and lifting
Preferred
Experience in arts, culture, or community-focused organizations is a strong plus
Experience with tools such as WordPress, Square, Stripe, DotDigital, Mailchimp, Gravity Forms, Jotform, Elementor, Zapier, or APIs is helpful but not required
