Responsibilities
Plan and manage the end to end execution of generative AI projects define program roadmaps scope deliverables and timelines for multiple concurrent initiatives
Lead cross functional teams of AI engineers data scientists cloud architects and business analysts Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and business units to ensure solutions align with company goals and customer needs
Provide technical direction for AI solution development Oversee the design of Azure based architectures using Azure Functions App Services AKS etc and integration of Azure OpenAI services GPT4 models embeddings Retrieval Augmented Generation pipelines into enterprise applications
Serve as the bridge between technical and business stakeholders Communicate project status insights and risks to executives and diverse stakeholders Gather requirements from business teams and translate them into technical action plans ensuring constant alignment
Proactively identify risks timeline technical operational compliance and develop mitigation strategies Resolve roadblocks by coordinating resources adjusting plans and negotiating scope or solutions as needed to keep programs on track
Ensure on time on budget delivery of AIML solutions with high quality Work with product owners and end-users to drive adoption of the new AI tools and track business impact If needed coordinate pilot programs or Proofs of Concept to demonstrate value before scaling up
Enforce security privacy and compliance standards in all AI initiatives This includes integrating with enterprise identity Entra ID for secure access ensuring handling of data including any PII follows company and regulatory guidelines and upholding Responsible AI practices
Define KPIs and success metrics for each AI program eg model accuracy system performance user adoption ROI Monitor progress through agile metrics and analytics dashboards and adjust plans based on datadriven insights
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
10 years of experience in technology, software development, cloud engineering, or data science including 3 years in technical program or project management roles driving complex initiatives in an enterprise setting
Handson experience delivering solutions with AIML or Generative AI technologies
Familiarity with Azure OpenAI services eg working knowledge of GPT34 models, embedding models, prompt engineering and experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures or similar AI integration patterns
Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture
Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Containers, AKS and related cloud components to deploy scalable applications
Proven ability to understand and contribute to technical solution design
Comfortable reviewing architecture diagrams, data pipelines, and code snippets
Adept at making tradeoff decisions on technical approaches in consultation with engineering leads
