Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with the lifecycle of workers' compensation claims, ensuring all deadlines are tracked and met
Draft and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents
Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, medical evaluations, and hearings
Maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring all medical records and evidence are organized and accessible
Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2–3 years of consistent experience in Workers' Compensation or Personal Injury law
A College Degree is strongly preferred
Excellent professional references are required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software; exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Must live within a 30-mile radius of the Raleigh office for reasonable commuting on in-office days
