Sales Business Development
Sky Limit Systems is an equipment manufacturer serving food & beverage producers, and they are seeking a driven Remote Sales Representative to grow their Converting and Packaging equipment business across North America. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and demo to closing capital equipment projects with plant leaders and corporate engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory plan to drive new equipment and retrofit sales in food & beverage accounts
Build relationships with plant managers, engineering, maintenance, and procurement stakeholders
Manage the full sales process: prospecting, qualification, proposals, ROI justification, and deal closing
Track opportunities via CRM and report pipeline, forecast, and competitive activity
Qualification
Required
3+ years selling capital equipment into food, beverage, or flexible packaging / converting environments
Strong hunter mindset with a track record of meeting or beating quota in remote sales roles
Ability to communicate technical value related to machinery performance, changeovers, uptime, and OEE
Willingness to travel to customer sites, trade shows, and key industry events as needed
Preferred
Previous success selling converting or packaging equipment, such as pouching, bag-making, form-fill-seal, or related automation
Familiarity with the workflows and decision-making processes inside food & beverage manufacturing plants
Background working with OEMs or distributors in flexible packaging, capital equipment, or automation solutions
