Responsibilities

Work with engineers to review drawings, specifications and develop machining solutions to produce parts to meet the required design and functionality
Become integrated into the Machine shop Team, planning, coordinating, and successfully producing the machined parts to meet all the specified engineering requirements
Program and operate HAAS multi axis (up to 5) CNC milling machines and work on other standard machine shop equipment
Manage the customers and companies required engineering documentation and processes to create a permanent record of how the part was created for future reference
Track the work progress and provide regular status updates to your customer’s
Grow your experience in creating unique, limited volume, high tech application parts and assemblies

Required

Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Experienced with CNC programming and/or machining centers
Experience creating machined parts and building assemblies from engineering drawings

Preferred

Experience working in a machine shop environment, as an example with Mills, Lathes, Drill Press', Cut off and Band saws, & grinders
Experience cutting tool geometries including rake angles, relief angles, edge preparation, and their impact on surface finishes
Experienced CAD/CAM programmer. Pro-Engineer/Pro-Manuf., Creo 5.0, Master Cam tools
A 2-year technical degree or technical machine shop related class completion
Experienced user of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
HAAS CNC programming and machining experience
Experience working on a team and enhancing the team environment
