Responsibilities
Learn side-by-side from experienced data scientists to mentor and guide you through hands-on projects
Understand applications of data science and machine learning in the domains of fintech and financial services
Build code to extract data, test and train machine learning models, and assess model performance
Learn emerging trends in machine learning and identify opportunities for their applications
Synthesize findings into actionable insights and tailor conclusions to stakeholders of various backgrounds
Understand how machine learning projects are managed to drive a clear path to production and measurable impact
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's program or a rising senior in a Bachelor's program in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or other related domain
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong foundational knowledge of Python for data science and analytics through hands-on projects in coursework or self-study
Understanding of common machine learning approaches in regression and classification, as well as common performance diagnostics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively and independently
