LHH is seeking a highly skilled Senior OT/IT Systems Engineer to lead critical Operational Technology Services initiatives across multiple facilities. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing OT/IT infrastructure to support industrial control systems, ensuring reliability and performance in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Lead OT infrastructure projects including OT network and server design, migrations, and modernization initiatives

Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of ICS architecture and plant connectivity

Support, administer, and enhance SCADA and DCS platforms (e.g., FactoryTalk, Ignition)

Drive adoption of OT/IT standards across manufacturing environments

Develop and manage CPwE‑aligned industrial networks

Support containerized OT applications (Docker, Kubernetes) across environments

Lead SCADA/DCS expansions, system integrations, and application migrations

Provide expert guidance on PLCs, industrial networks, Windows‑based systems, and virtualized environments

Collaborate cross‑functionally to solve complex automation and manufacturing performance challenges

Create and execute technical plans, including BOMs, scopes of work, estimates, and project proposals

Conduct audits, identify gaps, and implement industry best practices for OT security and reliability

Ensure solutions align with regulatory and quality requirements (USDA, GMP, SQF)

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field (IT, Engineering, Telecommunications, etc.) or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in SCADA/DCS engineering, administration, or support

Hands‑on experience with industrial control applications (FactoryTalk, Ignition, or similar)

Strong understanding of industrial networking (switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs)

Skilled in designing/configuring virtualized server environments

Familiarity with IT/OT security best practices

Preferred

Experience with Rockwell/Cisco CPwE and Purdue Model frameworks

Troubleshooting experience with PLCs and HMIs (Allen‑Bradley preferred)

Ignition Certification

Containerization experience (Docker/Kubernetes)

Knowledge of power distribution, control panel layouts, and hardware specifications
