Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise middleware platforms including WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Oracle, IBM, Red Hat, BEA, and related technologies
Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, resolving OS, network, and middleware-level issues
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or Puppet
Collaborate closely with application development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and system lifecycle management
Monitor production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability
Prepare and coordinate system deliverables including architecture design, system analysis, and performance tuning
Recommend system enhancements, technology upgrades, and disaster recovery improvements
Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security standards, and DevOps best practices
Qualification
Required
10-15 years of experience in enterprise middleware engineering
Experience designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise middleware platforms including WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Oracle, IBM, Red Hat, BEA, and related technologies
Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, resolving OS, network, and middleware-level issues
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or Puppet
Collaborate closely with application development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and system lifecycle management

Experience with IBM WebSphere (v6.1, v7, v8.5)
Experience with Apache Tomcat (8.x, 9.x)
Experience with JBoss 6.x, WildFly (9.x, 13.x, 19.x)
Experience with OBPM 10gR3, ALBPM 5.7.3, TIBCO BPM
Experience with Apache 2.x, Sun ONE 6.x, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS 12c)
Experience with Java/J2EE, C, C++, Visual Basic, SQL, PL/SQL
Experience with Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, JTA, JNDI, JMX, EJB, RMI
Experience with JDK 1.4–1.7, HTML, XML, DHTML, MSXML, ASPX
Experience with WLST, UNIX Shell (Bourne, Korn, Bash, C Shell), Maven, Ant
Experience with Oracle (8i–11g), MS SQL Server (7.x/2000/2008), DB2, Sybase, MySQL, MS Access, PointBase
Experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet
15+ years of experience in enterprise middleware engineering
Strong background in DevOps, automation, and IaC
Proven experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical platforms
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills
US Citizenship required
