Responsibilities

Lead the ideation and creation of internal content, telling meaningful stories about our people and automotive products
Draft newsletters, email announcements, and internal videos, keeping automotive employees engaged and informed
Support external communications efforts, including PR events, award submissions, and speaking engagements
Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives, helping refine messaging and improve engagement
Collaborate with global teams across functions, gaining exposure to diverse areas of the business

Required

Must have taken courses in, or closely related to Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to team and project leads
Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan
Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A passion for writing
Video creation/editing experience
Interest in the automotive industry
