Responsibilities
Perform routine microbiological testing on finished products, stability samples, and special requests
Conduct growth promotion, contamination checks, and antimicrobial testing per SOPs
Prepare and handle microbial cultures using aseptic/sterile technique
Accurately document test results in compliance with GDP, GMP, and GLP requirements
Enter and review data in LIMS and supporting documentation systems
Support laboratory investigations and document invalid or atypical results
Maintain audit-ready laboratory conditions, including logs, calibrations, and cleanliness
Follow all safety, PPE, and HSE requirements in an FDA-regulated environment
Participate in continuous improvement and 6S activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science (or equivalent hands-on lab experience)
Academic, internship, or early-career experience in a microbiology or regulated lab setting
Familiarity with aseptic technique, basic microbiology testing, and following written lab procedures
Comfortable documenting results accurately and working to GMP/GLP standards
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced lab environment
Strong communicator who enjoys learning, collaborating, and contributing to continuous improvement
