Responsibilities
You will work closely with other members of the team, as well as our Product and Project teams, and other departmental engineering teams on various projects as they arise
You will be both an individual and team contributor
You'll work on projects that maintain, update, and improve our existing business systems applications, and workflows
Familiarize yourself with our tech stack and keep up to date with industry best practices and improvements
Qualification
Required
5+ years working with Node.js, Java, and other back-end frameworks
Experience with various databases MySQL, MS SQL, Snowflake, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
Experience building REST APIs to push/receive data
Knowledge of server-side scripting languages such as JSP, PHP, or Groovy
Knowledge of shell scripting, such as Bash or Python
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git, SVN
Knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins and Docker
Familiarity with the agile methodology of software development
Experience with software development tools such as Jira
Strong analytical and communication skills in a hybrid work environment
A willingness to adapt and be audience-focused, with a curious mindset and a commitment to creating an inclusive work environment
Preferred
Knowledge of React and/or similar JS frameworks
Familiarity with .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Progress, Perl, Powershell, Passenger
