Responsibilities

Validate EEG-led, multimodal biosensing hardware through hands-on testing, benchmarking, and iterative experimentation across development cycles
Partner closely with hardware, software engineering and product teams to assess signal quality across EEG, PPG, and other physiological sensors in real-world use
Evaluate sensor placement, materials, fit, and wearability, balancing signal stability, user comfort, and ease of setup
Identify and diagnose artifacts, noise, drift, and instability across biosignals, providing actionable feedback to support rapid iteration
Define and extract core signal quality metrics and apply basic statistical checks to verify reliability and consistency across modalities
Execute internal research, feasibility, and validation studies supporting product, design, and cross-functional teams
Run structured human-subject sessions to validate protocol implementation, usability, comfort, and repeatability within the headset
Monitor protocol execution quality and surface issues related to signal integrity, participant experience, or session flow
Collaborate with product, design, and advisory partners to translate study findings into actionable product improvements
Support preparation of research summaries, internal reports, and external-facing materials based on executed studies including drafting figures, methods descriptions, and results summaries for papers
Collaborate with internal leadership and external advisors to ensure accurate representation of study execution and signal quality
Help organize datasets, protocols, and documentation needed for publications or future research efforts
Maintain clear, well-structured research records to support ongoing validation, communication, and knowledge transfer
Occasionally support live testing during investor demos, partner visits, and pilot engagements
Support reliable setup and execution of sessions in dynamic, real-world environments
Contribute to building external credibility in the technology and its performance
