Responsibilities
Define and Execute AI Strategy: Develop a forward-looking commercial AI strategy aligned with ViiV’s organizational priorities, focusing on varied outcomes depending on the use case (e.g., revenue growth for commercial needs, experience for patient needs, etc.) and productivity improvements
AI Product Innovation & Delivery: Lead a cross-functional team to design, scale, and operationalize AI-enabled products and solutions focused on enabling sales and marketing transformation, including personalization engines, advanced analytics and decision support tools
Generative AI Commercial Applications: Pioneer the use of Generative AI in content generation, digital sales models, omnichannel orchestration, patient engagement, and field force enablement
AI-Driven Customer Experience: Drive the adoption of AI-enabled personalization across customer touchpoints, enhancing engagement for healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and payers
End-to-End Data & AI Ecosystem Leadership: Partner with enterprise data and platform teams across ViiV and GSK to ensure data, analytics, and AI capabilities are not only scalable and robust, but embedded into commercial ways of working through effective change management, adoption, and enablement
Talent & Capability Building: Build and lead commercial AI product, analytics, and enablement teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the Customer Excellence organization
Enterprise Leadership: Serve as a trusted AI and transformation advisor to senior leadership, influencing organizational strategy and capability priorities through data-backed narratives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
12+ years of experience leading AI- and analytics-enabled transformation initiatives within commercial organizations (pharma and non-pharma), including accountability for change management, adoption, and sustained business impact
Experience scaling AI/ML platforms and teams in a matrixed, global organization
Experience developing and utilizing AI applications across digital engagement, omnichannel personalization, commercial forecasting, field force effectiveness, and patient identification / engagement
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA or quantitative discipline such as Data Science)
Prior experience working in a marketing or sales role at a pharmaceutical company
Proven track record of driving measurable business value through AI/ML products within biopharma, tech, or consumer industries
Demonstrated thought leadership in Generative AI, advanced analytics, and decision intelligence
Visionary leadership with strong AI fluency combined with deep commercial acumen
Proven change agent driving digital and AI adoption at scale
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, influencing at C-suite and cross-functional leadership levels
Deep understanding of responsible AI, ethics, and data privacy frameworks
Entrepreneurial, outcome-oriented mindset with a bias for action
