Industrial Engineering Manager

Responsibilities
Lead team of OpEx engineers - coach, motivate and foster professional development of direct reports
Deploy MPS program (Medtronic Performance System) at the campus level which includes safety excellence, value stream excellence, zero loss culture, continuous skill development, quality excellence, improvement excellence, and maintenance excellence
Coach, educate, and build organizational capabilities as defined within the Medtronic Performance System global operational excellence program
Partner with site cross-functional teams to develop and execute Lean Transformation initiatives
Define, design, and implement continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across the organization
Establish and maintain a site-wide culture of continuous improvement and install process excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications, and rewards
Establish a culture of programmatic savings to deliver YOY COGs reduction
Facilitate and coach teams through DMAIC methodology to build strong problem-solving capabilities
As defined by site size, attract develop and retain a high-performance technical staff
Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery
Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Qualification
Required

Green Belt, Black Belt, or PMP certification
Experience in the Medical Device of Pharmaceutical field
Engineering Degree
Master of Business and Administration
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex transformation initiatives with high level of visibility and business criticality
Ability to lead, energize and influence change efforts at all levels of a complex organization
Hands-on experience managing cross-functional projects working across businesses, sites, or regions
Demonstrated ability to lead in an FDA-regulated environment
Experience and accountability driving change resulting in improvement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs
