Responsibilities

SimpleK key system knowledge required
Rekey locks, create master key systems
Maintain key control records
Ensure compliance with fire, life safety, and accessibility codes
Supervise and mentor locksmith technicians and apprentices
Manage inventory of locks, keys, and related hardware
Schedule and dispatch jobs; maintain workflow efficiency
Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and key distribution
Implement hospital security protocols and key control systems
Knowledge of Corbin Russwin Locks required

Required

5-10 years of hands-on locksmith experience (commercial or institutional)
Prior supervisory or shop management experience strongly preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Locksmith License NYC
