Optomi, in partnership with a leading media and technology organization, is looking for a Technical Program Manager P3 to join their team in Bristol, CT. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for driving the execution and delivery of multiple technical product or software development projects, focusing on video, streaming, media, and connected TV applications.

Responsibilities

Drive execution and delivery of technical projects from start to finish

Manage team dynamics, morale, and motivation while building a culture of respect

Identify project risks and communicate prioritized mitigation plans to stakeholders

Develop and manage project plans with complex activities and dependencies

Communicate status, updates, and project summaries to leadership

Lead effective meetings, document decisions, and follow up promptly

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to understand strategic roadmaps

Constantly evaluate processes and seek ways to improve at every iteration

Negotiate competing requirements and stakeholder preferences to identify solution paths

Qualification

Required

7+ years of technical project management experience working directly with engineers

5+ years of hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Extensive knowledge and experience with the software development lifecycle

Experience with video, streaming, media, and connected TV applications

Preferred

Sports/media background preferred

CSM/CSP Certification is a plus

Technical proficiency in coding, quality assurance, or technical writing
