Responsibilities
Develop and execute supply chain strategy aligned with company growth, product launches, and portfolio expansion
Build scalable processes, tools, and KPIs to support a lean organization and outsourced supply model
Provide leadership on supply risk management, business continuity planning, and long-range supply planning
Lead demand planning and forecasting processes in partnership with Commercial, Finance, and Market Access
Own and continuously improve Sales and Operations Planning cadence (monthly/quarterly) including supply review, demand review, and executive alignment
Translate forecasts into supply plans, procurement plans, and inventory targets
Own inventory strategy across API, intermediates, finished goods, and packaging components
Establish and manage safety stock policies and inventory health metrics (expiry risk, slow movers, backorders)
Manage relationships and performance of CMOs/CDMOs, packaging vendors, testing labs, and key material suppliers
Support partner onboarding for product serialization
Partner with Quality to ensure compliant supplier qualification, change control, and deviation/CAPA alignment
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with external partners to improve service levels, cycle times, and cost
Lead supply chain readiness for new product launches including packaging, labeling, serialization, and distribution setup
Support lifecycle changes such as alternate sourcing, process improvements, packaging changes, and tech transfers
Ensure supply chain input into Regulatory filings and post-approval changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
5+ years supply chain experience in pharmaceuticals/biotech
Strong understanding of pharma distribution, outsourced manufacturing networks, logistics, and compliance requirements (GDP; GMP awareness)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience in rare disease, specialty pharma, or orphan products
Launch experience (new product commercialization)
Familiarity with serialization, specialty distribution models, cold chain
