Responsibilities

Deliver production targets
Lead and develop shift teams
Ensure safety and quality compliance
Drive continuous improvement on the plant floor
Coordinate all production activities on your shift
Ensure labor is effectively planned
Monitor equipment performance
Analyze trends and address issues in real time
Implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and inefficiencies
Promote a positive, engaged, and collaborative shift culture
Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Handle employee-related matters such as interviewing, training, and performance improvement

Qualification

Continuous improvement methodologiesFood manufacturing experienceLeadership experienceBachelor’s degreeMicrosoft OfficeCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Food Safety, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams in a food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S and Six Sigma
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop hourly production teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work varying shifts in a 24/7 operation

Preferred

Prior leadership experience in a unionized environment
