Responsibilities
Manage tax engagements from planning through completion
Prepare and review complex tax returns (individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations)
Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns
Review staff-prepared returns and identify tax-saving opportunities
Communicate directly with clients to resolve tax issues and provide recommendations
Assist partners with proposals and business development efforts
Manage engagement budgets and timelines
Develop understanding of client operations and business objectives
Handle state and foreign tax considerations as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience, preferably in a public accounting firm
Strong experience with US individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
Solid understanding of federal and state taxation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Strong leadership, communication, and client-service skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field
CPA exam eligible
