Administrative Services Coordinator I
Tennessee Technological University is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator I to manage day-to-day operations of the main office and assist the chairperson and departmental faculty. The role involves supporting students with registration and managing office technology, event scheduling, and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day operations of the main office
Serve as the primary assistant to the chair
Assist students with registration and award approved registration permits
Function as the administrative associate for the graduate chemistry program
Assist faculty, staff, and students with the use of office technology
Manage event scheduling, such as room reservations, food purchases, and itineraries, for classes, events, and department visitors
Input class schedules in the university’s scheduling system
Inventory and ordering office supplies
Delegate tasks to departmental student workers
Generate marketing materials for the graduate and undergraduate program
Edit and maintain departmental website and social media accounts, including meeting accessibility requirements
Attend faculty meetings and record minutes
Serve as back up support for the Pre-Professional Health Sciences Career Track Program, located in the Chemistry department
Other responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of related professional experience
Experience using personal computers and common software platforms (such as MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Five years of experience in a professional office setting
Associate or bachelor's degree
Familiarity with TTU policies, procedures and software
Experience or familiarity with multicultural environments
Familiarity with office machines and computer hardware, their use and limitations
