Responsibilities
Developing Guides to facilitate Alpha's workshops with exceptional quality and consistency
Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning experiences, and challenge resolution strategies
Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that elevates student participation and learning outcomes
Coaching a small student cohort directly, demonstrating advanced mentorship and motivational techniques
Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort is engaged with school, progresses at 2× the standard rate, and acquires essential life skills
Qualification
Required
Currently located in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus (Bethesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA)
Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or comparable area
Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training systems
Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities with experience building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams
Background working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
Skilled in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement
Authorized to work legally in the United States
