Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive A/V system designs, including hardware and software architectures, for large-scale, resilient collaboration environments
Produce detailed CAD drawing packages, including schematics, signal flows, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Design, test, and validate integrated A/V solutions such as videoconferencing systems, control platforms, displays, video walls, audio reinforcement, and streaming technologies
Conduct site surveys and provide sales engineering support by gathering technical requirements, defining project scope, and generating system cost estimates
Design, test, and troubleshoot networked systems supporting A/V technologies, including IP-based and telecommunications infrastructures
Create and execute functional acceptance test plans, troubleshooting procedures, and deliver on-site user and administrator training for installed A/V systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of progressive experience
Proven experience designing and implementing complex hardware and software solutions, including cost estimates, schedules, and work breakdown structures
Strong background working with multidisciplinary teams and providing technical mentoring or coaching to junior staff
Proficiency with A/V control platforms (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron), AutoCAD or similar drafting tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage directly with executive leadership and travel up to 20% as required
Top Secret security clearance; candidates must be eligible for government security investigations
