Responsibilities
Define and implement test strategy for multiple disciplines already in place. The objective is to evolve the team to be efficient without sacrificing quality
Oversee the testing full life-cycle from requirements, design, execution, analysis, and reporting for all of the quality engineering efforts
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to determine scope and needs of testing
Standardize and optimize current processes to enable process automation, digital initiatives, system deployments, new products etc
Develop a well-defined strategy that has broad agreement and is integrated with digital transformation efforts
Focus on improving the maintainability, increase automated test coverage and decrease manual test executions
Be open to exploring new technologies and methodologies including using AI tools to generate test scripts, execute scripts, analyze coverage, create test data, etc
Develop and maintain relationships with other IT solution functions and customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
10+ years in Automation, Security, Performance or Non-functional engineering lead and Architect role building platforms and services using private/public cloud and On-Prem platforms
5+ years experience with automation & security testing tools both opensource & proprietary
3+ years experience with high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems, stream-processing platforms, cloud DevOps
Multi-system Integration using industry standards such as REST, API, JSON, SOAP, etc
Relevant industry experience required, demonstrating working knowledge of relevant software infrastructure products/platforms
Experience performing DevOps engineering on a platform/product
Experience with resilient and highly available mission critical technology components, multi-tier service design and operations
Experience delivering products/Platforms and services using Agile methodology
