Financial Reporting Manager
CarsonLynch has been engaged by a Fortune 500 organization that is expanding its Financial Reporting group due to company growth. The role involves preparing SEC filings, ensuring accuracy in financial reports, and managing relationships with auditors while supporting business unit leaders in financial analysis.
Responsibilities
Prepare SEC filings, as well as other Statutory filings
Ensure complete accuracy on the 10-K, 10-Q, etc
Working with business unit leaders to analyze their monthly financials, as well as offering support to obtain future goals
Manage a relationship with internal and external auditors
Continuously research changes to SEC/GAAP reporting guidance
Ad hoc project work as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
7+ years of related experience
CPA
Exposure to the Financial Services industry, ideally Insurance in particular. This includes via clients in public accounting roles
Experience working at a publicly traded company, or similar exposure via public accounting clients
Ability to thrive in a 100% remote environment
