Responsibilities
Administer and maintain virtual desktops and streaming applications within the Horizon/Omnissa environment
Assist with onboarding new acquisitions and migrating existing business units to cloud resources (Azure preferred)
Administer Active Directory tasks, including user provisioning, terminations, and permissions management
Support migrations from existing file servers to SharePoint and other cloud collaboration platforms
Monitor compute resources, backups, VPN access, and related infrastructure components in partnership with cloud providers and Corporate IT resources
Manage and resolve infrastructure-related service requests, ensuring timely and effective support
Collaborate with all Safety Division units to understand unique infrastructure needs and plan integrations and migrations
Provide insights and recommendations to architecture teams for emerging projects and technology initiatives
Generate reports and advisories for projects, production systems, and infrastructure health
Assist in planning, testing, and executing DR activities to ensure business continuity
Create, maintain, and organize technical documentation for systems, processes, and projects
Embrace AI tools to streamline workflows and mentor team members on leveraging automation and AI for efficiency
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
VMware Horizon/Omnissa administration
Active Directory & Group Policy management
Cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS, GCP a plus)
SharePoint experience
Backup and DR solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
Networking fundamentals (VPN, routing, switching)
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or electrical engineering highly preferred
Prior experience in infrastructure migrations and integrations
Familiarity with compliance and security best practices
Exposure to AI-driven tools and automation frameworks
