Deal Desk Analyst

AST SpaceMobile is building the first global cellular broadband network in space to connect mobile devices. They are seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to support the commercial process from quote creation to delivery tracking, ensuring accuracy and collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain quotes based on approved pricing, product configurations, and commercial terms
Ensure quote accuracy, including SKUs, quantities, pricing, discounts, terms, billing frequency, taxes, and legal language
Validate and document approvals per the delegation of authority (discounts, exceptions, non‑standard terms)
Track deal progression from quote creation through close, using defined stages and checkpoints
Maintain deal desk logs and CRM entries, including status, blockers, approvals, next steps, and key dependencies
Support same‑day turnaround for urgent deals based on SLA requirements
Collect, verify, and attach revenue‑impacting documentation (e.g., order forms, SOWs, amendments, acceptance milestones)
Ensure accuracy of rev rec data such as term dates, performance obligations, and delivery triggers
Proactively notify Finance/RevOps of revenue‑impacting events (bookings, amendments, cancellations, partial deliveries)
Support internal controls by maintaining consistent documentation, timestamps, and evidence
Maintain accurate delivery/provisioning fields in CRM for visibility across Sales and Operations
Sync delivery status updates with internal fulfillment/logistics systems
Track inventory or service delivery through shipment, provisioning, or activation milestones
Identify and escalate delivery risks such as delays, backorders, or incomplete information, partnering with Operations/Fulfillment to resolve
Work closely with Sales (GMs/AMs), Sales Ops/RevOps, Finance, Billing, Legal (as needed), Operations/Fulfillment, and Customer Success
Operate within a ticketed or queue‑based intake model with defined SLAs and escalation paths

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Operations, Finance, or related field) or equivalent experience
A minimum of 2+ years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Order Management, Quote Operations, or similar role
Experience supporting quote‑to‑order workflows and high‑accuracy transactional work
Strong communication skills and cross‑functional coordination experience
Proven ability to maintain clean CRM data and documentation
Ability to work in a standard office or remote office environment
Ability to use a computer for extended periods
Ability to meet the working hour requirements of the US Eastern Time Zone

Preferred

Experience with CRM and quoting tools such as Salesforce, CPQ platforms, or revenue tools
Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts and documentation requirements
Experience with logistics/fulfillment tracking and delivery milestone coordination
Background working in environments requiring strong process compliance and audit‑ready documentation
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation and CRM updates
Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking abilities
CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
CPQ/quoting platforms
Ticketing or workflow management tools (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, or similar)
Productivity and documentation tools (Excel, Google Workspace, Office 365)
Revenue or finance tools (as applicable to internal systems)
