Responsibilities
Support daily business office operations for the Florida Recovery Center
Communicate insurance coverage, program fees, and payment expectations to patients
Post charges and collect payments in EPIC for UF Health Physicians and Shands
Assist the Director of Operations with:
Data gathering, analysis, and reporting (financial, operational, quality, satisfaction)
Project management and administrative tasks
Review vendor agreements to protect the fiscal interests of the organization
Order supplies and materials through PeopleSoft
Prepare invoices and track/catalog fiscal activity for FRC
Ensure compliance with all applicable procedures and maintain working knowledge of compliance systems for FRC facilities and campus
Provide administrative and secretarial support as needed, including tasks typically requiring leadership attention
Maintain proficiency and stay current with EPIC system updates and workflows
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years of experience in an office or business office setting
Independent proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with flexibility and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
Proven problem-solving abilities
Exceptional customer service and leadership skills
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Non-frequent driver (as defined by UF Health policy)
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Not required
Preferred
Bookkeeping or accounting experience
College degree (may substitute for experience)
Experience using EPIC in a healthcare setting
