The intern will engage in various functions within Product Design, contributing to user research, prototyping, and front-end development while collaborating with product teams to enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities
Sample a variety of functions within Product Design, including user research and testing, wire framing and prototyping, and front-end development (HTML/CSS)
Join a product feature team (we call them Squads) to deliver a product that helps our customers thrive
Collaborate with the Product Designer on your squad to guide the user experience throughout the product development lifecycle, balancing discovery and delivery
Be an advocate for our users. You’ll understand their needs and motivations first, and make sure we’re delivering value to them
Partner with other Product Designers to create a purposeful and cohesive experience for our users
Contribute to our design system and the visual direction of our product
Experience an Agile environment. We pride ourselves on being nimble. You will see your work shipped and be used by customers
Work with a Design Mentor to develop skills, find your niche within the design field, and polish your resume and portfolio
Qualification
Required
Experienced with design software, with working knowledge of Figma or similar tools
Eager to learn. You understand design fundamentals and technology, but you're hungry to level up your skills and not afraid to get into frontend coding
Passionate about design. You care about visual and interaction details and can communicate the value of design to stakeholders
A team player. Comfortable collaborating with product management, engineering, and customer success
Curious and empathetic. Motivated to understand users' needs, motivations, and pain points
Growth-minded. Willing to own problems, comfortable with ambiguity, driven to make things better, and grounded in both optimism and humility
