Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is a leader in mobile technologies and consumer electronics. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to assist in managing financial records and supporting accounting processes within their Finance and Accounting team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records

Assist in the preparation of tax documents and compliance with regulatory requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making

Conduct research on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to inform financial processes

Prepare reports and presentations on financial performance and recommendations

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates

Possess U.S. work authorization

Be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule

Participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement

Preferred

Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related roles

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations is advantageous
