Responsibilities
Support general ledger accounting and account analysis
Assist with bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Review vendor statements and assist with resolving discrepancies
Support purchase order matching and receiving within Cedar Creek
Assist with validating member charges and revenue postings
Prepare basic financial schedules and management reports
Maintain organized, accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
Assist with filing, organizing, and indexing accounting materials, as needed
Support audits, internal controls, and special accounting projects, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Basic understanding of fundamental accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel (formulas, basic analysis)
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across departments
Preferred
Prior accounting coursework or internship experience is a plus, but not required
