Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for the development and administration of programs, activities, contracts, and services
Ensure that health and human service directors work collaboratively to develop, design, and implement strategies
Perform analysis, planning, forecasts, implementation, and evaluation of programs, staff, and departments to ensure efficient delivery of services
Qualification
Required
Doctorate Degree in Health Services Administration, Health Planning, Public Health, Public Administration, Psychiatry, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Family Therapy, Substance Abuse or related field is required
A minimum of ten (10) years of senior leadership experience working in a service focused government or public organization, with experience of leading a multi-department team of 50 or more direct reports is required
Prior experience in planning or directing health/human/clinic services, programs or working in the implementation and coordination of treatment plans is required
Ability to exemplify the highest level of professional standards/ethics and demonstrate appropriate and culturally sensitive service delivery and community-based treatment
Superior organizational skills, project management abilities, critical thinking, exceptional analytical and communication skills, results orientation, and proficiency in budget and finance are required
Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required
Demonstrate proficiency computer and software applications
Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Preferred
Board Certified Medical Professional licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain it is highly preferred
