Responsibilities
Perform cash application activities and ensure accurate posting of customer payments
Complete accounts receivable reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Manage and resolve customer deductions, including those commonly associated with high-volume or trade-driven customers
Coordinate with customer operations teams and internal AR or finance partners to address billing, payment, and account issues
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection and accurate account status
Support internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and explanations as needed
Maintain accurate customer and transaction records in financial systems
Utilize accounting and planning systems, including NetSuite and Blueplanner, to manage AR activities and reporting
Assist with month-end close activities and ad hoc reporting as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience
Understanding of AR processes, including cash application, deductions, and reconciliations
Experience working with ERP or financial systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred
Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting preferred
