Information Technology Coordinator

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day IT operations and manage the relationship with the Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Independently assess IT issues, determine priorities, and direct vendor resources to meet business needs
Serve as an internal advisor to leadership on IT operations, service trends, and technology-related risks
Oversee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, including access levels and security compliance
Administer IT policies, procedures, and documentation; recommend updates and improvements as needed
Coordinate IT security controls such as access management, backups, and multi-factor authentication
Lead coordination efforts during IT or cybersecurity incidents
Plan and oversee IT projects, including defining requirements, tracking progress, and communicating updates
Manage IT assets, documentation, and lifecycle planning
Review and approve MSP invoices and evaluate vendor performance
Communicate system changes, IT initiatives, and operational impacts to internal users

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, IT coordination, or a related role
Experience managing or overseeing third-party IT vendors or Managed Service Providers
Strong understanding of IT operations, user support, Microsoft 365 environments, and cybersecurity best practices
Ability to analyze issues, exercise independent judgment, and make decisions impacting IT service delivery
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business-friendly language
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred

Experience supporting IT operations in a multi-location or regulated environment
Experience with IT policy administration, security oversight, or risk management
Relevant IT certifications
