Responsibilities
Support inside sales activities for government and commercial customers
Prepare and process quotes, sales orders, and acknowledgements
Communicate with customers regarding pricing, lead times, and order status
Coordinate with procurement or operations points of contact for accurate information
Maintain customer records, pricing data, and sales documentation
Assist with follow-ups on open quotes, backorders, and outstanding customer requests
Provide documentation needed for compliance, traceability, or order packages
Manage daily administrative tasks related to office operations
Handle incoming calls, emails, and general correspondence
Maintain organized electronic and physical files
Assist with scheduling and meeting coordination
Support invoicing, recordkeeping, and reporting tasks
Coordinate office supply needs and service provider communications
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of experience in office administration, inside sales, or customer support
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Preferred
Prior work supporting defense contractors, aerospace firms, or government sales teams
Familiarity with DLA, DoD, or prime contractors
Understanding of contract terms, compliance, or basic FAR/DFARS concepts
