Responsibilities

Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Follow standard operating procedures
Research inquiries and provide solutions
Keep the pipeline full and work to improve the process
Timely and accurately record work and results
Act as a representative of our client, addressing or resolving inquiries from taxpayers via multiple channels: email, phone, fax, etc
Process inbound correspondence and forms
Resolve problems using standard procedures; looking for ways to improve overall client experience
Update, maintain, or access taxpayer accounts, transactions, or documents in proprietary system
Ensure required documentation is received and completed correctly
Successfully complete basic training
Competent in identifying qualified targets for Discovery
Able to meet department productivity and quality standards

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional, respectful demeanor in communicating with taxpayers, clients, and team
Maintain a deep understanding of complex municipal codes
Resolve problems of complexity and with a broad perspective; looking for ways to improve overall client or taxpayer experience
Working knowledge of business models in key discovery types
Experienced Client Services skills
Solve problems of moderate scope and complexity
Demonstrate good judgment, strong team player
Adapt well to changing priorities, influences priorities and decisions
Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and consistency
Recognize potential problems and provide alternatives that satisfy long-range plans
Proven verbal and written communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills; able to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up promptly
Ability to learn and apply complex concepts in new situations
Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently while making sound decisions
