Responsibilities
Develop litigation strategy for insurance coverage litigation
Conduct complex legal research and draft high-level memoranda
Analyze insurance policies and claims; prepare coverage analyses and recommendations
Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings (virtual unless otherwise required)
Supervise and mentor associates and paralegals
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience with handling insurance coverage matters
Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Must be barred to practice law in one of the following states: NY, NJ, IL, GA, MA, CO, TX, MO, NV, CA, FL, AZ, or DC
Demonstrated strength in legal research, writing, and analysis
Proven interpersonal skills, with experience in leadership and mentoring
Trusted to handle matters of a highly sensitive and confidential nature
Skilled at managing multiple time-sensitive matters concurrently
Preferred
Experience with product liability policies is preferred
