Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
Provide mechanical design and development services in support of projects, including part and assembly design from conceptual and detail design through manufacturing introduction
Utilize SolidWorks solid modeling and drawing software to complete mechanical design for a wide range of components and assemblies composed of stainless steel, chromoly, aluminum and plastics that are manufactured via casting, CNC machining, LASER cutting, CNC forming and molding
Examine and analyze new designs to determine feasibility of operations, tooling, manufacturing and applications
Assemble and evaluate proof of concept prototypes
Prepare and execute component and system verification and validation test plans, including establishing pass/fail criteria
Create, manage, release, and maintain BOM’s
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a mechanical related major
Understanding and confirming to relevant safety standards
Can lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
