Integration Engineering Project Lead - 26973
Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking an Integration Engineering Project Lead to support the Joint Simulation Environment at Nellis AFB. This role involves leading integration activities, coordinating engineering efforts, and providing hands-on support for complex systems used across the DoD.

Responsibilities
Lead integration activities across networking, software, and systems engineering teams, ensuring alignment with technical, schedule, and mission objectives
Delegate technical tasks, manage priorities, and coordinate multi-site engineering efforts to maintain interoperability across distributed systems
Serve as a primary interface with government stakeholders, program leadership, and partner organizations, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration
Provide hands-on support for networking, system configuration, troubleshooting, and software integration tasks when required
Support integration of JSE-based simulators, NGTS, GRID, and other synthetic environment components
Contribute to system design reviews, technical planning, documentation, configuration management, and risk mitigation activities
Assist with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including RMF processes, STIG compliance, and secure enclave operations
Provide technical and leadership support during mission execution, training events, and test activities
Support capture, proposal development, and business development activities for future JSE-related opportunities
Qualification
Required
9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field
7 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field
4 years of relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate
13 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience leading technical teams or managing engineering‑focused projects
Broad understanding of systems integration, networking, and software development environments
Ability to oversee technical work while stepping in to perform hands‑on tasks when required
Familiarity with distributed Modeling & Simulation environments, LVC systems, or DoD test/training architectures
Experience coordinating across multi‑disciplinary engineering teams
Strong communication and stakeholder‑facing skills, including government interaction
Ability to support both technical execution and project‑level planning
Must be a U.S. citizen
Current or active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
Preferred
Experience supporting JSE, NGTS, GRID, DIS/HLA/TENA, or similar distributed simulation protocols
Background in program or project leadership within DoD environments
Experience supporting capture, proposals, or business development activities
IAT II certifications (Security+, CCNA Security, etc.)
IAM certifications (CAP, CASP+, CISM, CISSP‑ISSMP, or similar)
Advanced certifications or education such as PMP, CCNP, CISSP, or a graduate degree in a technical or systems‑focused discipline
