The organization is seeking an unpaid part-time intern for the Information Systems Department to assist in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement while collaborating with various departments to align data insights with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and data analytics to support business operations and strategic planning
Utilize data visualization tools to extract insights from complex data sets, presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner
Identify areas for process automation and optimization, implementing solutions to enhance data delivery and operational efficiency
Work with IT, business development, and other departments to align data insights with organizational goals
Assist the IS areas by working through project plans, executing project tasks, and holding support meetings with stakeholders to fulfill incoming project requests
Support any incoming helpdesk requests and tickets submitted by users, agency-wide
Additionally, may be asked to support in staff trainings on Information Systems Application topics
Support the use of project management tools to track project tasks, activities, and other outcomes towards project completion
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's Degree program in public policy, information technology or related field
Preferred
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in information, technology or a related field
Candidate must have strong analytical and communication skills
Preference for candidates with SQL and Tableau knowledge
Candidate must be organized, have capabilities for setting priorities and lead projects and initiatives
Candidate must have a desire to learn and adapt in a corporate environment
Candidate must have strong self-starter skills and be willing to collaborate within a team environment
Candidate must be willing to work hybrid, part-time remotely and part-time in the office
Candidate must have the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
