Responsibilities
Provide sound structural engineering designs for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects
Perform detailed calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with regulations
Think outside the box to provide creative solutions that exceed client expectations
Review and produce technical drawings, reports, and specifications
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
Work closely with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to bring designs to life
Oversee the production of construction documents
Mentor engineers, shaping the future of structural engineering
Lead technical discussions and foster an environment of continuous learning
Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring we’re always one step ahead
Be the go-to expert for all things structural
Meet with clients, architects, engineers and project stakeholders to keep everything running smoothly
Build and maintain strong client relationships—because people matter just as much as projects
Ensure that every design meets local, national, and international building codes
Conduct project quality assurance and quality control reviews —because details matter
Support green building initiatives where possible. Sustainability is the future!
Help refine engineering processes, tools, and standards
Learn from each project, identify areas of improvement, and implement them
Qualification
Required
PE License required
7+ years of structural engineering experience
Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, RISA 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
Strong understanding of AISC, ACI, IBC, and other building codes
Project management experience with budgets, timelines, and resources
Exceptional communication skills
Problem-solving mindset with a passion for tackling complex challenges
Preferred
SE, PMP, LEED, or ENV SP is a plus!
Experience across multi-family residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects
Experience in contract management and negotiations
