Responsibilities
Provide system quality control support by conducting inspections and testing on electrical components
Support team members in their roles as a program focal point for quality assurance, acting as a liaison with other functional departments
Develop a thorough understanding of the project scope and schedule as they relate to his/her specific assignment
Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed
Assist with identifying and reporting rework and non-conforming issue

Qualification
Required
Self-starter with exceptional organization and interpersonal skills
At least 5 years in Quality and field inspection, quality auditing, and surveillance for construction. Working knowledge of the specific trade of discipline as assigned, with associated special processes, inspection and testing techniques
Working knowledge of construction industry codes relating to area of expertise (i.e. ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.)
Associate degree in engineering technology, construction or quality preferred plus 8 years years' experience in a related construction field or a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) plus 10 years' experience in a related construction field
Knowledge of quality control procedures, tracking and reporting, material/equipment quality review and experience reviewing completed work packages to ensure drawings/specifications and client requirements are met
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
