Director, Revenue Operations & Systems
Venteon is seeking a highly organized and analytical Director of Revenue Operations to lead cross-functional initiatives that align financial planning, revenue reporting, sales strategy, and commission operations. This role is ideal for a leader who can translate strategy into scalable operational outcomes and involves managing various systems and data to enhance business execution.
Responsibilities
Define and implement KPIs, reporting frameworks, and analytics to support revenue performance, sales effectiveness, and operational priorities
Translate go-to-market and revenue effectiveness initiatives into actionable system, data, process, and reporting roadmaps
Lead system upgrade and enhancement initiatives across ERP, accounting platforms, CRM, reporting tools, and commission systems
Own end-to-end project lifecycle management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication
Partner with finance, sales, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure systems align with business needs
Drive automation and system enhancements to improve data accuracy, operational efficiency, and commission reporting
Identify inefficiencies in sales and finance workflows and implement scalable, automated solutions
Oversee data migration and system integrations across finance and enterprise platforms
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls during system changes
Develop training materials, documentation, and change-management resources to support end users
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
12+ years of experience in revenue operations, finance, accounting, sales operations, or a closely related function
5+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 years supporting or leading finance systems initiatives
Strong understanding of core finance processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience working with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or similar platforms
Background supporting B2B revenue or sales organizations, sales operations, or go-to-market functions
Preferred
PMP or similar project management certification
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across finance, sales, IT, and executive leadership
Proven ability to analyze data, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement
Experience leading projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
